About Me

Alan Godfrey

I'm a Christian therapist committed to helping, men, women, couples, and children learn how to be their true and best selves, as people made in the image of God. My work focuses on healing relationships, sexual and internet/gaming addictions, OCD, and trauma recovery. I believe in taking an integrated approach to therapy with CBT, ImTT, and psychodynamic practices to help clients reach their goals.

When not at the center, I really enjoy spending time with friends, going to Mass, and being outside with my wife and kids.

At this time, I am accepting new clients exclusively via telehealth.

My educational background is:

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary's College.

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology from UC Davis.

I have certifications in:

• Certified Image Transformation Therapy

• Certified Sex Addiction Therapist

• Certified Multiple Addiction Therapist

I have additional training in:

• Gaming and internet addiction

• Freedom state image and transformation therapy
